Daily Schedule
Kid Power's daily program includes Circle Time, Guided Exercise, a project, an activity, free play, story time, snacks, and lunch.  Projects and Circle Time games are based around a monthly or weekly theme.  It is important to us to include both process ("free") art as well as structured crafts in our weekly schedule.  Similarly, dramatic, or pretend, play is included as a weekly group activity.   Games, activities, projects, books, etc. are always planned with the childrens' varied ages in mind.    Each Circle Time includes a greeting, sing along, finger plays, and stories.  At the beginning of each week, parents are e-mailed a curriculum and book list to encourage constant communication between caregivers and families.  Below is a sample of one week's curriculum.  This particular week, we also kept a Mold Journal at Circle Time as part of an ongoing science experiment.
